Yeah, I agree... they work some marketing magic at Philz. Apparently they have around 8 or more locations in the Bay Area now, all doing a lot of business. Will they be the next Peet's? Do they &lt;em&gt;want&lt;/em&gt; to be the next Peet's?

David--I agree, the names aren't selling to non-customers, they are selling to already-customers.</description>

Their large, last I saw (like you say), was 3.50.  By pricing a small at 3.00 (or thereabouts), the marginal cost/sip for a large seems like such a great deal.  I'm pretty sure this is part of their plan, too.</description>
